The UPI-UPSI International Conference 2025, themed “Transforming Education in the Digital Era to Prepare Adaptive and Competitive Global Citizens”, will be held on November 19–21, 2025 at Hotel Grand Tjokro, Bandung, Indonesia. Organized by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia, the conference will feature distinguished speakers from leading universities worldwide, offering valuable insights into the future of education in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
The conference will cover key themes such as transformative education for future-ready learners, social inclusion and intercultural competence, economic literacy and entrepreneurship in education, as well as digital transformation and innovation in education systems. It provides a global platform for educators, researchers, policymakers, and students to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and develop strategies that empower the next generation to thrive in a digital and interconnected world.

Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A.Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A. is the Rector of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), one of the leading universities in Indonesia specializing in education, research, and innovation. With a strong academic background in language education and applied linguistics, he has contributed extensively to advancing research, curriculum development, and teacher training both nationally and internationally.
Throughout his academic career, Prof. Sukyadi has published numerous scholarly works in reputable journals, focusing on language learning, assessment, and educational innovation. His leadership reflects a commitment to fostering transformative education, strengthening global collaboration, and preparing adaptive graduates who are ready to meet the challenges of the digital era. As Rector of UPI, he continues to play a pivotal role in positioning the university as a center of excellence in education and research at both the national and global levels.
Profesor Dr. Abdul Talib Mohamed Hashim
Prof. Eero Tapani Ropo, Ph.D Prof. Eero Tapani Ropo, Ph.D. adalah seorang akademisi senior di Tampere University, Finlandia, yang dikenal luas dalam bidang pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan guru (teacher education). Sejak tahun 1978 beliau aktif di Tampere University dan sejak 1996 menjabat sebagai Profesor Pendidikan. Selain itu, ia juga pernah menjadi profesor paruh waktu di Nord University, Norwegia (2016–2019) serta terlibat dalam pengembangan program magister internasional, termasuk kerja sama dengan universitas di Indonesia. Fokus penelitian utamanya mencakup pendidikan guru, pengembangan identitas melalui pendekatan naratif, kurikulum serta kebijakan pendidikan, dan fenomenologi dalam pembelajaran. Prof. Ropo juga aktif dalam proyek-proyek internasional, salah satunya Curriculum Development for Climate Change Education yang melibatkan kolaborasi antara Finlandia dan Indonesia. Dengan pengalaman lebih dari empat dekade, beliau berperan penting dalam memperkuat pendidikan guru di Finlandia maupun dalam konteks global, serta menjadi narasumber yang berpengaruh dalam diskusi mengenai perubahan kurikulum, pembelajaran, dan tantangan pendidikan masa depan.
Prof. Marek Tessar Prof. Marek Tessar is a renowned academic at The University of Melbourne, Australia, with expertise in education, research innovation, and global collaboration in higher education. His scholarly contributions focus on advancing learning methodologies, fostering international partnerships, and integrating digital transformation into education systems.
Through his teaching, research, and leadership, Prof. Tessar has played a significant role in shaping educational practices that respond to the challenges of globalization and the digital era. His work continues to strengthen the University of Melbourne’s international reputation as a center of excellence in education and research.
